The Linrud Family

The Linrud family was so fun!  What a treat to go up to their house, in Morrison, and explore their property with their girls.

Sometimes Daddy lifts us in the air like we are Wonder Woman!  It's so fun!

We have a gate on our property - the handle is pretty high up and we can barely reach it.  We'll be able to reach it soon, mom and dad will keep taking our picture, each year, by this handle to see how we've grown.

We had fun, but this "being a model" stuff is hard work... we're tired!

10 Little Fingers and 10 Little Toes

Karey and Joey have to be one of the cutest couple - and one of the bravest.... they aren't finding out the gender of their baby until he/she is born.  Now, I know, some people may not think that's "brave" and might even think that it is the "only way to go", but for me, I think it's brave.  :)

 

We had quite a time trying to get this scheduled!  Between their schedule and mine, and the silly Colorado weather.  We were scheduled to do this shoot later in the day but feared rain so we took an opportunity to do it earlier in the day.  The weather and the sun was perfect!

In the last few minutes we had some weather move in but we hid under a tree and finished up our session.  They are such a fun couple, are so excited for their baby to arrive, and I can't wait to work with them again - all 3 of them!!

The Blackburn Family

In 2012 we found ourselves looking for daycare for our kids...  we had been through a lot and were really nervous about starting yet another relationship with a caregiver.  We though it best to look at a "center" so the kids would have more interaction with other kids, etc...  Walking into Gateway Academy, I was greeted by the warmest smile ever - from the director, AnnMarie Blackburn.  The rest is history and fast forward to last week, July 2016, when I had the honor of taking her family's photos.

AnnMarie now owners her own school, Ohana School of Early Learning, in Highlands Ranch.  It's UNBELIEVABLE!!  If you need care/education for a child 6 weeks through 5 years, you HAVE to check them out.  Her husband, Cody, is a great dad and he is the principal of a local STEM school.

 

They have a lot of fun as a family and especially with their silly boys....

 

 

Speaking of boys.  They better get some pretty big locks on their doors - these boys are destine to be heartbreakers.  John is the oldest and Daniel is his younger brother.

We all had a great time, the weather was perfect, and this family is a model family in more ways than one!
