Capturing their "this is what we look like right now" portraits

When you notice how fast the kids are growing and you need updated photos of them, let's get together!  These 2 teens plus a tween showed up early one morning to capture their "this is what I look like now" images.  Don't miss these opportunities with your kids - they will never look just like this again!

These siblings were a lot of fun and so cooperative - made my job easy!

One of my favorite poses for teenage girls... and she nailed it!

A "Picture Perfect" Family

When a client refers someone to me I am always thrilled!  When a client refers someone to me that has adorable children who love the camera, well, that makes my day!!  Rayanne and Dan are one of those clients that have become friends.  When Rayanne told me that her friend (from forever ago) wanted to get family photos done I couldn't wait to hear from her.  Ria contacted me a few days later and we set a date.  Little did I know, this family was "picture perfect" - just look at them!

Then, when I got their girls in front of the camera they just lit up!  I mean really, see for yourself....

Looking at this little one with her dad and then with her mom just warms my heart!

....and this little "model in the making" couldn't make my job an easier than she did!

Her sweet smile!

Yep, it's Rilynn again....

Oh how I love this sweet girl's smile.  She came in and acted like she owned the place, I love it!  She loved the whitewashed rocking chair and it was fun to see her sitting in it, it was my rocker when I was about 2 years old.  I've been lucky enough to photography Rilynn quite a few times, she never disappoints!

It's hard to believe that, since I took these, I have photographed her again and.... she is walking!  I love that I get to watch clients' (who have become friends) kids grow up through the lens of my camera!!

Valentine's Day Cards Please....

A returning client explained how important Valentine's Day cards were to her and was excited to come have photos taken of her two boys.  This is the second time photographing the baby but something like the 4th or 5th with Tatum, the big brother.  They did great and we were able to get this sweet pose of Tatum loving on his baby brother.

After a few more poses with the boys, mom got in on the action.  I just couldn't help grab a sweet photo of him holding mom's finger.  With these smiles and all this love, it sure makes my job easy!

Benson Brothers - Nothing but LOVE!

When the Benson brothers arrived at All Stages Photography's home studio I knew we'd be in for a fun session.  These boys are not only adorable but they are smart and sweet too!

Each one of them had their own unique smile and personality.  It was easy to capture great images of them!

I am sure these boys will all be heart breakers in years to come!  Thanks for coming to see me!

And Baby Makes 4!

When I was contacted by the Lucero family I was thrilled.  I had to privilege of taking their family photos about a year ago and now they were expecting a baby girl.  Such fun!

Eli has grown up a lot and now he's going to be a big brother - he was very excited!

He thought it would be fun if everyone showed off their belly, he was right, it was fun!  I thought it would be neat to show everyone's shoes, I was right too.

There is a lot of love in this family.  This baby girl will be very loved too!

What would a session with a silly little boy be without a collage of fun faces?  I can't wait to photograph him with his baby sister.

Recreating the past

Anyone that knows me, knows that I like to document history in the lives of my kids and our family.  Sometimes that is through pictures and sometimes that is through photobooks with stories of our adventures.  I was recently asked to recreate a family photo taken more than 10 year ago - what fun!

Lisa's husband keeps this photo on his desk and she wanted to surprise him with an updated photo.  It was fun to take some of them holding the picture (above) and some of them together, in a similar pose (below).

Now, with these 3, who are very fun, we had to do some fun photos....

Yes, that's right, Bryce climbed all the way up in that tree , He was easily 8-10 feet up!  The, there is this optical illusion in the middle photo :).  And, Bryce carrying his mom around on his back was a fun too!

Lisa couldn't let Bryce be the only one to get up that tree so she headed that way too.  The space between the fence and tree was too big though so she climbed to the top of the fence  Amy got in on the fun too and ran around to the other side of the fence to climb up as well!

Since everyone was there and lookin' so good, we thought we'd capture some other group and individual shots.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed spending some time with Lisa, Bryce, and Amy.
